Unchiseled

September 29, 2019

Lilly sawdust fresh grass
after the rain orange blossom
Sweet sweat dappled
Cucumber drip
Crumbled up into a ball
And thrown into me
A balloon teeters
In the outer atmosphere

It never looks back

Gracious patience unwrapped
til scarred with your beauty
Enthralled and scraped
From an empty bowl
Heaven is here
cracked and craven
The poison, by the third page,
is hunger that fills
released into your wilds
